Hi! My name is Alice Denslow. I'll show you some dolls and other arts in which I dabble. If you see something that interests you, please e-mail me for prices and shipping arrangements. To avoid sticker shock, bear in mind that these are handmade porcelain items. I overpack carefully and insure shipping. Please allow minimum of 2 - 3 weeks for check clearance and shipping. Some items shown already have owners, so a similar item can be created just for you. It will just take a little longer.

Crystal and Mona are my welcoming committee. They consider it necessary to check all visitors for identifying scents. Please present the back of your hand for inspection. If you are not wearing cat scent or a big black bear costume they will retire to their pillow to watch quietly. Crystal's wag means "Scroll all the way to the bottom to find Links to the Following Pages."

Bru Shandele and Mein Liebling are among my favorite antique reproductions. These are from large molds, but they come in lots of sizes and costume possibilities. Antique repros available include Jumeau, Steiner, A. Marque, Schmitt, SFBJ, Heubach, Kestner and other Brus and Simon & Halbigs. There are babies, children, ladies and gentlemen, all-bisques, half dolls and piano babies. Many molds of old figurines have been recovered from behind the former Iron Curtain. Please check my links to the mold companies and I will make your wishes come true.

This doll represents Nzingha, legendary African queen in the 17th century. My projects use washes to achieve realistic skin tone and my most favorite are the darker ethnic tones. Since you cannot send a skin sample, though, please visit your local paint store to find a color chip as close as possible. I would love to do a baby, child, lady doll, or even a man, to your specifications.
